Organisation
The NRS board consists of researchers and pulmonologists who are willing to put in some extra time and effort to optimize lung research and collaboration in the Netherlands. The board is supported by the secretariat.
The Young Investigator Board is there to guide talented young investigators in order to increase the quality of basic and applied respiratory research in the Netherlands. To this end, they each year organize the Young Investigator Symposium in November. The Young Investigator Board is also responsible for the awarding of the NRS Travel Grants and the NRS Chiesi Young Investigator Award.
The news committee consists of a small editorial staff consisting of researchers and a research journalist supported by correspondents who screen the literature for new, challenging and promising articles that have recently been published in the field of respiratory research. The focus is on research articles in which Dutch scientists are involved.
