9th Symposium of the NRS platform experimental models in pulmonary research
On October 11th, 2019, the NRS platform experimental models in pulmonary research organizes the 9th symposium in Utrecht, Nutricia Research, Uppsalalaan 12, 3584 CT Utrecht, de Uithof.
Our aim is to optimize the use of experimental models in lung research and to stimulate and facilitate collaborations between research groups of the academia and industry. During this 9th symposium, experts in the field, post-docs and PhD students will give an overview of the models used in pulmonary research such as asthma, neonatal lung disease, pulmonary infection and drug development.
Our keynote speakers, professor dr. Philip Hansbro (Centre for Inflammation, University of Technology, School of Life Sciences, Ultimo, NSW 2007 & Centenary Institute, Sydney, NSW 2209, and Priority Research Centre for Healthy Lungs, University of Newcastle, & Vaccines, Infection, Viruses & Asthma (VIVA) group, Hunter Medical Research Institute, Newcastle, Australia) and professor dr. David Schwartz (Professor of Medicine and Immunology, Department of Medicine, University of Colorado, Denver, USA) will present on animal models for Asthma COPD, lung cancer and IPF to develop improved therapy.
We invite all NRS members that are (interested in) working with experimental models in pulmonary disease.
