7th NRS Young Investigator Symposium
The NRS board and NRS Young Investigators Board invite you to attend the 7th NRS Young Investigators Symposium.
This event is aimed at Young investigators, such as PhD students and (junior) post-docs, working in the field of lung diseases.
The topic of this 7th symposium is ‘Influence of life style and environment on lung diseases’ and it will be held on November 13th, 2015 at Hotel Casa400 in Amsterdam.
The morning starts with an interview with a patient who suffers from a lung disease. Thereafter 4 talks will be given by pronounced Keynote speakers;
prof. dr. Ben Marsland, dr. Machteld Hylkema, prof. dr. Peter Wagner and dr. Anneke ten Brinke.
After the lunch break, a vibrant PRO-CON discussion will be held on the theorem “Influence of air pollution on health is underestimated”. Thereafter, the Keynote speakers will lead master classes with junior researchers (e.g. PhD students; max. 10 attendees per master class), which allows them to present their own research and receive feedback.
Places within the master classes are assigned by the first to register.
If needed, a 5th masterclass will be organized.
Registration closes November 1st, 2015!
Simultaneous to the master classes, the workshop "Patient Participation" will be given for more experienced researchers (e.g. (junior) post-docs).
The afternoon will end with a lecture of the Chiesi Award Winner of 2014, and presentation of new Award winners, like the SAB award and award for best MasterClass presentation.
So register TODAY and have the best prospect of entering the master class/workshop during our Young Investigators Symposium!
