Invitation to submit an abstract to the GSK SPARROW meeting The Netherlands

GSK invites researchers in the Netherlands to send in an abstract in the field of respiratory research, regardless of specific focus area. Together with GSK, an expert panel would like to give five researchers the opportunity to share their research in an oral presentation. The researcher with the most inspiring abstract and presentation wins an individual mentorship with a relevant Dutch expert. Deadline: 9th of August

The expert panel consists of Hans in ‘t Veen – pulmonologist in Rotterdam, René Lutter – researcher in Amsterdam, Judith Herder – pulmonologist in Amersfoort, and Martijn Spruit – researcher in Maastricht. They will select the five most inspiring abstracts to be presented at the meeting. Each presentation should be max 10 minutes in duration and 5 minutes for questions and answers, using no more than 10 slides. The slides and presentation should be in English.

The meeting will take place in Amersfoort on the 24th of September from 3:30 to 5:00 PM (or virtual if necessary due to the COVID-19 measures). Following the presentations and reward ceremony, networking drinks will be served.
