REGISTER NOW! 6th NRS Young Investigator Symposium

NRS September 2014

The NRS board and NRS Young Investigators Board invite you to attend the 6th NRS Young Investigators Symposium.

This event is aimed at Young investigators, such as PhD students and (junior) post-docs, working in the field of lung diseases.

The topic of this 6th symposium is ‘Hypoxia and Lung Disease’ and it will be held on November 14th, 2014 at Hotel Casa400 in Amsterdam.

The morning consists of 4 talks given by pronounced Keynote speakers;
prof.dr. Peter Bärtsch, prof.dr. Nick Morrell, dr. Robbert Rottier and dr. Esther Troost.

In the afternoon, the Keynote speakers will lead master classes with junior researchers (e.g. PhD students; max. 10 attendees per master class), which allows them to present their own research and receive feedback.
Places within the master classes are assigned by the first to register.
If needed, a 5th masterclass will be organized.

Registration close the 17th of October, 2014!

Simultaneous to the master classes, the workshop "Grant Applications: The road to success" will be given for more experienced researchers (e.g. (junior) post-docs).
Thereafter, a vibrant PRO-CON discussion will be held on the theorem "Hypoxia is the major cause of muscle dysfunction in COPD".

The afternoon will end with a lecture of the Chiesi Award Winner of 2013, and presentation of new Award winners, like the SAB award and award for best MasterClass presentation.

So register TODAY and have the best prospect of entering the master class/workshop during our Young Investigators Symposium!
